When reviews near you complain about parking, customers start to avoid the whole area. If people can park near you, tell them where. Add it to your listing in one clear line. A customer who knows where to park can plan the trip.
Deepa runs a family restaurant in a busy market. Reviews of places nearby said "no parking at all" and "had to circle for 20 minutes".
There is a paid parking lot just behind Deepa's restaurant. Two minutes on foot. New customers did not know.
She added a line about the parking lot to her listing. She also added a photo of the lot entrance.
This is an example, with a made up name and business.
Fix it yourself
- Check your own reviews first. If your customers also complain about parking, look for a nearby option first.
- Find the real options. Your own space, the road outside, a paid lot, or space for two wheelers.
- Write one clear line. For example, "Paid parking behind the shop, 2 minutes walk." Use your own real details.
- Add it to your listing. Open your Business Profile and tap Edit profile. Add the line to your description. If you see parking options, mark the ones that are true.
- Add a photo. A photo of the parking spot or entrance helps people find it.
- Check your map pin. If the pin is wrong, people get lost before they even park. See our map pin guide.
Rules to keep
- Only say what is really there.
- If parking is paid, say so.
- Never say another place has no parking.
Common questions
There is no parking near me at all. What can I say?
Say what helps. A nearby metro, bus stop, or auto stand. Or offer home delivery if you can.
Parking is only easy at some times. Should I say so?
Yes. For example, "Easy parking before 6 pm." Honest times help.
Will this bring more customers?
Nobody can promise that. It removes one worry for a customer coming by car or bike.
