Privacy Policy

Information you provide directly:

• Contact details: Full name, email address, and phone number collected at checkout.
• Business information: Business type (cafe, restaurant, QSR, bakery, bar, retail, etc.) and business name (if provided).
• Location data: The city, neighbourhood, and ZIP code for the address you want analysed. Precise coordinates are collected optionally via the Free Snapshot tool to improve search accuracy.
• Payment information: Payments are processed entirely by our payment provider (Razorpay, via its international processing). We do not receive, store, or have access to your card numbers or bank account details. We receive only a payment confirmation token and order ID.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: Pages visited, buttons clicked, and general browsing behaviour, collected through our analytics tooling.
• Session-replay analytics: We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised, aggregated interaction data (clicks, scrolling, page navigation) so we can understand and improve the site. Clarity masks form-field input by default. See Microsoft's Clarity privacy statement for how that data is handled on their side.
• Device and network data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and approximate location (city/region level) for security and fraud prevention.
• Cookies: Minimal session cookies for the checkout flow, and analytics cookies described in Section 7.

• Report generation: Your location, business type, and order details are used as inputs to our AI pipeline to generate your Viabe Report.
• Delivery: Your email address is used to send the completed Report PDF. Your phone number is used to send a delivery notification by messaging, where provided.
• Order management and support: Contact details are used to respond to support queries, order issues, and refund requests.
• Service improvement: Aggregated and anonymised usage data helps us improve report quality, site performance, and product features.
• Legal compliance: We may retain and disclose data where required by applicable law, regulatory direction, or court order.
• Marketing: We will not send promotional emails without your explicit opt-in consent. Order confirmations and report delivery emails are transactional, not marketing.

We share your personal data only with the following trusted service providers, each bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

• Payment processing — Razorpay, to take payment securely for USD charges. Card and bank details are handled entirely by the payment provider and never reach us.
• Communication delivery — to send your Report, order confirmations, and delivery notifications by email and messaging.
• Hosting and database infrastructure — to store order records, report metadata, and account information securely.
• Mapping and geolocation services — to resolve the address you submit and gather location signals for the analysis.
• Product analytics — Microsoft Clarity and standard web analytics, used in aggregate to improve the service.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third party for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.

• Orders and customer data: Retained for 3 years from the date of purchase for compliance, dispute resolution, and accounting obligations.
• Generated Report PDFs: Retained for 1 year from the delivery date, after which they may be purged from our storage.
• Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymised after 90 days.
• Deletion requests: Processed within 30 days of receipt, subject to legal retention requirements.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the following rights with respect to your personal information:

• Right to know: What personal information we have collected, used, and disclosed about you in the preceding 12 months.
• Right to delete: Request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Right to correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out: We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front — but you may still object to non-essential analytics at any time.
• Right to non-discrimination: We will not deny you service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@viabe.ai with your name, registered email address, and the specific request. We will verify your identity using the information tied to your order and respond within 45 days.

Regardless of state of residence, you may ask us at any time to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete: Ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Object: Object to the processing of your data for analytics or non-essential purposes.

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following limited purposes:

• Session cookies: Required for the checkout flow and order status tracking. These expire when you close your browser.
• Analytics cookies: Used to understand how visitors use the site, including Microsoft Clarity session-replay analytics disclosed in Section 1. You can opt out by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings, or by emailing us.
• Theme preference: A local storage entry (not a cookie) stores your light/dark mode preference. This is never transmitted to our servers.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or remarketing cookies.
